Chicago Chapter Announcement

The SLF (Speculative Literature Foundation) is pleased to announce the formation of its Chicago Chapter. The charter of the Chicago Chapter is to carry on the purpose of the SLF with a more regional focus. The aim of the organization is to encourage promising new writers, assist established writers, facilitate the work of quality magazines and small presses, and develop a greater public appreciation of speculative fiction.

If you are a creator or fan of speculative fiction, we’d love to hear from you. Membership is free of charge and includes regional and nationally known authors. Feel free to join us at http://speculativeliterature.org/membership

Chicago Chapter Chairperson(s)

Philip Janowski is a fiction writer and essayist living in Chicago. He is a contributor to the Chicago Review of Books and Windy City Reviews. He gives presentations on writing with the international Apex Writers community, and at local Chicago conventions such as Capricon. His fiction has been awarded Honorable Mentions from the Writers of the Future and NYC Midnight contests. His major project is an experimental epic fantasy series, the Domino Trilogy.
