The Speculative Literature Foundation is pleased to announce that Adia Reynolds is the winner of our 2024 Diverse Writers Grant.
The Diverse Writers grant is intended to support speculative fiction writers from underrepresented and underprivileged groups — such as writers of color, women, queer writers, disabled writers, etc. — whose marginalized identities may present additional obstacles in the writing and publishing process.

Adia Reynolds is a senior attending Fort Hays State University where she studies English with a writing concentration alongside a grant writing certificate. She is published across fourteen magazines, and volunteers as a staff editor with three. She has recently completed her first novel, a fantasy post-apocalypse, with many more speculative fiction works on the horizon. When she is not writing, she thinks about writing.
