The Speculative Literature Foundation is pleased to announce Edward Rathke as the winner of the 2023 Diverse Worlds Grant.
The Diverse Worlds grant is intended for work that best presents a diverse world, even within genres that already challenge the confines of the world we know.
Rathke’s winning piece is “The Wicked Flee.”

A finalist for the Baen Fantasy Adventure Award, he is the author of Glossolalia, the lofi cyberpunk series Howl, and the space opera series The Shattered Stars. His short fiction appears in Queer Tales of Monumental Invention, Mysterion Magazine, Shoreline of Infinity, and elsewhere.
