Older Writers Grant deadline is May 31
The Speculative Literature Foundation will be accepting applications for the 2024 Older Writers Grant through May 31, 2024. Since 2004, the $1,000 Older Writers Grant has been awarded annually to writers who are at least fifty years of age at the time of application to assist such writers who are just starting to work at a professional level.

Co-writing opportunities
The SLF hosts regular Saturday co-writing sessions from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. CDT. These sessions are for writers who would like support for their writing, and are currently open and free of charge to anyone interested in being a part of our writing community.

Opportunities for writers

Headlands Center for the Arts invites applications for its Artist in Residence program. Fully sponsored residencies, including a monthly stipend, will be awarded to approximately 50 artists at the cutting edge of their fields whose work has the potential to have significant cultural and social impact. There is a $45 application fee. Learn more and apply by June 10 at headlands.org/programs.
